Rebecca’s history is within the health and social care sector
Rebecca began in healthcare as a Healthcare Assistant, a Therapy Assistant in Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy, and then qualified as a Nurse following attendance to University
Rebecca then entered into social care management in which she supervised complex respite services for those with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health needs
Rebecca has worked within most social care sectors including clinical care, elderly care homes, live-in care, domiciliary services and residential and supported living providers for those with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge
Rebecca is also a qualified Interpersonal Mediator and Trustee for a local basketball organisation
Rebecca has won awards within her previous roles for the work completed in turning services and providers around

Turnaround services – managing providers that have been rated as ‘Inadequate or Requires Improvement’ to ‘Good’
Commissioning services – helping businesses set up as care providers and implementing the governance structures needed for development
Staff development – mentoring and guiding staff in career development, many of whom are now also Registered Managers
Regional management – has worked within regional roles for national providers
Professional relationships – working with local authorities for services under embargo statuses and helping lift these within a year
Involved in multiple CQC inspections and reports – never having a rating under ‘Good’
